I did all that. AND I managed install a new printer in place of the one that died while I was in Africa. AND was forced to make my desktop work properly after various IOS and App upgrades over the past three months.
Today, I rewarded myself for the above accomplishments by finding some favorite photos of silly moments in travels passed. David and I, early on, developed a habit of goofing around with photos of statues we found hither and yon. There are others in my archives, but here are the ones that came to hand today

The more things change, the more you remain the same, sis...I’m happy to say.
ReplyDeleteStill channeling my inner goofball, Bro. I confess. Not even seventeen years of nuns trying to reform me in my childhood made much of dent. I fear I am incorrigible!
ReplyDeleteNow I have a new hobby when I see statues!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the ranks of the giggling.
DeleteIt doesn't look like you're whispering in Picasso's ear, it looks like you're looking for his brains... Loved you with the MadDogDemon in China 1986; just as I've always imagined you.
ReplyDeleteEvKa, perhaps if I were taller, I could have leaned in closer to the ear in question. That's my daughter goofing with the Fu-dogs. And her with the ancient Greek lion's head. She's the one with kissing Churchill, too. She embraced this fine family tradition!
DeleteBet you still ride the shopping cart back to the stack at the supermarket as well, Annamaria... :))
ReplyDeleteOf course I do, Zoe. In regular school, if you do the wrong thing, you go to the principal's office. In Catholic school, you go to the principal's AND you go to hell when you die. One does NOT outgrow such training.
DeleteI second Jeff . . . I love your smile, and your mischievous, fun-filled way of looking at the world.
ReplyDeleteDo you think it wise that we encourage AA so? :).
DeleteWise, Bro? Wisdom when it’s required—I’m all for that. But the rest of the time, I give fun a high priority. Giggling is good for the soul.
ReplyDeleteI love these photos. The fun in your spirit show through. Keep on giggling!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ann. I don't think I could stop, even if dignity sometimes seems to demand a more serious approach to life. Laughter=sanity for me.
DeleteEspecially love the photo of your David reading to FDR & Churchill.
