| When Stan wrote a couple of weeks ago about the noon cannon on Signal Hill, I told him I expected a one-gun salute when I arrived. Here is my photographic proof, taken from a boat during our harbor cruise, that he kept his promise. |

DeleteWhen we were short listed for the Debut Dagger many years ago, we thought the fates were aligned when they served guinea fowl as the main course. An African main course - an African winner.
DeleteOf course we didn't. Sigh. But the main course was delectable.
Stan, at least the CWA folk had better taste in food than they did in books. Perhaps I might get a chance to taste guinea fowl up there in Ingwelala?
