May Your Lives be as Full of Happiness as the Moon is Full in the Sky!

Ovidia--every other Tuesday

Happy First Full Moon of the year (Yuan Xiao Jie) Everyone!!

I'm sorry this is a day late, but the bright side (literally) is I get to write this on the fifteenth and last day of the Chinese New Year, which also marks the first full moon of the year.

I've come down with a nasty cold--suspect it's an unfortunate consequence of meeting up with too many people over the first week of the new year!

But lousy as I feel right now, I must say it was totally worth it.

(Though maybe we should think about meeting up more often throughout the year instead of cramming our getogethers into two weeks!)

I'll be spending today--the fifteenth and last day of the Chinese New Year--at home (and very likely in bed) but I fully intend to enjoy this downtime.

It's a real luxury to be able to take a couple of days off surrounded by books and food delivered by kind friends and neighbours and I'm very very grateful.

Happy a and wish you all a great new year.
