Jeff––Saturday
I’m currently battling jet-lag and a slight reaction to my
latest Covid booster shot, plus of course an in-person reintroduction to the craziness
known as life these days in the US.
Frankly, I don’t want to even listen to the news, let alone talk/write
about it. So, I’m taking the easy way out and posting a group of recent
political cartoons that I wish could make me laugh. But at least they won’t drag my spirits any further
down than they already are or drive me to reach for the bottled in bond sort.
Here's hoping at least one gives you a giggle… or at least a tee-hee-haw-haw.

The trouble with satire is that it doesn't work when real life is weirder and less believable...
ReplyDeleteYou can say that again, Michael. And again. And aghast. Jeff
DeleteI thought for sure the "shooting that was horrible" was when you got shot in the arm with the Covid vaccine.
ReplyDeleteI learned this week that when I start a comment on the blog, if I select my "Comment as" profile BEFORE typing anything, it works fine, but as soon as I type a single character in the comment field, then Anonymous is the only choice allowed, unless you delete all the text. FYI. :-)
