Interesting post. I just recently read a boo...Cara<br /><br />Interesting post. I just recently read a book called Sarah's Key, a debut novel by Tatiana de Rosnay. It was an account of the 1942 roundup of French jews by the French police. They were held under horrible conditions at the Veledrome d-Hiver before being taken to a camp. In present day a main character is an American female journalist who is writing a story for her magazine about the roundup. She discovers connections to her French husband's family. Very good read. I hadn't realized, or had forgotten, that the French police rounded up their own Jewish citizens.<br /><br />I just picked up yur latest book, Cara. Murder In the Palais Royal.
