I agree with murderbytype, you definitely don't want to be drinking or eating when you read this. Michael and I just had a short story - The Haunting - published in the latest edition of Strand Magazine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1990338437877873686.post-46424209004274284052010-08-19T10:02:27.515-04:002010-08-19T10:02:27.515-04:00First of all, this should have come with a warning...First of all, this should have come with a warning. No one should be munching on toast or drinking coffee while reading.

Second, it is a good thing that this is not read in public. If I was looking through something by Dave Barry in a bookstore, and this is a funny as anything he has written, one of my children would take the book out of my hands and walk me out the door. I tend to wheeze and sound like a dying goose; my children found me a source of embarrassment.

I particularly liked the one about the asphalt. If the bookstore I was removed from happened to be at the airport before a flight, I would leave all of them on their own if they needed the masks.

Is it wise to remind passengers of the black box?

BethAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
