It brought back...Thanks Lisa, that made me chuckle. It brought back terrible memories of my Glasgow to London sleeper journeys when I was at uni. At Christmas one year, I woke up expecting to see rainy Glasgow but saw nothing but snow. Then realised it was quiet because the train was not moving. Stuck in a snow drift on the border. British rail lost track (pardon the pun) of the train for ten hours. The folks at home were told it had turned back, the folks at uni were told it had got through to Glasgow.
