The canals and historic homes; the Rijksmuseum and other great cultural attractions; the thousands of people on bicycles whizzing by at all hours -- I thought it was a place unlike any other I've ever visited. For natural wonders, I'd recommend New Mexico, which is an overlooked gem in the U.S. Sue Trowbridgehttp://www.interbridge.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1990338437877873686.post-39266276563183903452016-12-29T12:01:50.601-05:002016-12-29T12:01:50.601-05:00I bought him indoors a trip to Neuschwanstein cas...I bought him indoors a trip to Neuschwanstein castle for his Christmas. I would return to the others repeatedly with glee, every year if I could. And never seeing Vegas again feels more like a natural goal than going there yet again would.

Adopting your criteria, my additions include: the Great Wall of China, Iguasu Falls, Potosi, Jordan (both Petra and Jerash) the top of the Empire State Building , and ALL of Italy. The final one may seem too obvious. BUT. I have been here so many times, and I am not finished seeing it. And I am still shaking my head in wonder. Forty-five years are not enough. 60% of the Patrimony of Humanity is here. The Cathedral of Siena all by itself is worth flying it Italy from anywhere in the world.

Things I would still like to experience: the northern lights and Christmas Eve in King's College Chapel, Cambridge.

And the Masai Mara--again and again and .....Annamaria Alfierihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12311596277267789834noreply@blogger.com
